Where is the hotel located?

BS16 is located in the agglomeration of Bern, more precisely at Bernstrasse 16, 3054 Schüpfen. More about the journey and location.

Do you have Wifi at the Hotel?

Of course we have free W-Lan in all our rooms. Here you can find the current W-Lan code.

Are pets welcome?

In principle, we do not allow pets in the hotel. Exceptions are possible. Especially for service dogs. Please get in touch with us.

What time can I check-in?

The rooms are generally ready for check-in from 4 pm. Earlier or early check-in on request. More info here.

At what time is checkout?

The rooms should be vacated by 10 am. We also offer a late check-out service on request. More info here.

How does the check-in work?

Check-in works via a self-check-in terminal. You must enter your booking number and fill in the registration form. You will then receive your individual key card. 

How does the check-out work?

Close your room door and drop the key in the “Check-out” key card box. That's all you need to do.

How can I extend my stay?

You can extend your reservation by making a direct booking. Select your current room. If this is not available, please contact us by e-mail or telephone.

Do you have parking?

We offer plenty of free parking spaces directly around our hotel (1 space per room). Please use the marked spaces on the gravel parking lot.

How far is the train station?

Schüpfen train station is 50m from the hotel. 
To Biel it is approx. 20min,
to Bern approx. 17min. by train.

Do you have air condition?

We have decided against an air conditioning system. The house is of course cooled using the cold recovery from the hot water system. 
On a few days a year, the room temperature can exceed 25°.

Do you have an elevator?

The building does not have an elevator. We offer rooms on the first floor for people who have difficulty walking. We also have two handicapped accessible rooms.

Which payment methods are accepted?

We accept advance payments by credit card or bank transfer. Cash payments are only possible in individual cases.

Is there a restaurant in the hotel?

We do not have our own restaurant. The nearest restaurant is approx. 70m away. 

Is there a fitness area in the hotel?

Two of our rooms have their own fitness equipment. There is no general fitness room.

Is there a barrier-free room?

Yes, room 19 (Jet airplane) and room 20 (Dubei by night) are barrier-free.
